Let's be honest, this has been the hardest year on just about everyone. For me personally, I had to change the way I approach fitness and it has been eye opening. I was a gym junkie - I like to lift, run, cycle - just about everything a gym has to offer. All of that was taken away from me and I had to adjust. I love working out…it is a release both physically and mentally…so taking a break was not an option for me.
As a business owner, I also had to make adjustments, I went from offering group classes in a studio to not being allowed to be open or take clients. My team adjusted, and we started doing virtual mat classes as well as one-on-ones Did I miss the studio and seeing clients face to face? Of course! However, by making this adjustment I found a new love for Pilates mat classes. I was feeling muscles I hadn't felt in a long time and started to notice how much stronger I was getting without the gym! I can't keep this to myself…I want to share this new found love with all of you! So I created this on-demand video platform!
